After last years disappointing cancellation plans are now afoot for the 2013 Agricultural Show. This years date is Bank Holiday Monday 5th August 2013. We are planning our most exciting show yet. Keep in touch to see what lies ahead! The core attractions are ALWAYS cattle, sheep, poultry, horse and pony showing classes and show jumping. BUT There are many competitions for the best floral displays, photography, art, baking, cooking, needlework, knitting, fruit and vegetable produce.
Our dog show is always a favourite so if you have a dog make sure to bring him too and you can check out his obedience in the Agility/Obedience Ring .
In 2011 we had over 70 booming trade stands selling and displaying local crafts, farmers markets, equine gear and all sorts of goods. The show provides entertainment to farming and family people and is a great local attraction on the Bank Holiday Monday.
We are always looking for fresh ideas and would like to hear from you if you have any!!!
